FN 509 Midsize Tactical

The FN 509 Midsize Tactical combines a mid-size frame and a full-size slide, resulting an accurate, well-balanced handgun that’s highly suited for virtually any application from duty to every day carry. This feature rich handgun is suppressor ready with its ½”x28 threaded barrel, and includes suppressor-height night sights in the 3-dot configuration. The FN 509 Midsize Tactical slide is equipped with FN’s Low-Profile Optics Mounting System, which is compatible with the popular micro red dots offered by Trijicon, Leupold, Vortex, Burris, Doctor Optic, Holosun, and more.

Like all of the handguns in the 509 series, the 509 Midsize Tactical offers exceptional ergonomics and outstanding reliability. The high endurance striker, external extractor, and polished chamber/feed ramp ensure dependable performance even in harsh conditions. The grip features aggressive, yet non-abrasive texturing to curb recoil for fast follow up shots, and interchangeable backstraps allows the FN 509 Midsize Tactical pistol to conform to the user’s hands for greater comfort. In addition, the 509 Midsize Tactical ships with 2 magazines: (1) flush fitting 15 round magazine and (1) 24 round extended magazine, or (2) 10 round magazines.
